The purpose of this role is to support the effective management of the store, by leading and motivating your team to ensure company standards are maintained in all areas of the store. You will be given the accountability of one of the three departments in store, however at times where the business requires it you will be required to work cross functionally to support other departments.

As Team Leader, you will oversee the functionality of a team by determining the goals that colleagues will work towards each shift, providing guidance, instruction on how to approach a task and leading by example. You will be responsible for the review of safe and legal records to ensure daily completion on your shifts. In the absence of senior management, you will have the responsibility of duty manager of the store.

Please Note:

The successful candidate will be over 18 years old.  Leadership skills are required.  The successful candidate will lead a team of colleagues on the Specialist Department which is Cafe and Counters and will be expected to lead a team of colleagues to deliver great service and standards in accordance with company policy, Food Safety Standards and Health and Safety law.  The successful candidate will ensure the team are delivering in their roles and are in the right place at the right time.  Daily rota planning must be conducted to ensure consistency in daily standards.  The successful candidate will work in conjunction with the department manager to deliver success on a daily basis.
