Customer Assistant (Process)

 
 

Accountabilities

 

 

To deliver a high level of customer service by delivering a warm northern welcome to every customer each and every time.

 

To demonstrate all of the characteristics of Booths outlined in the Company Purpose.

 

To respond to any internal customer queries and complaints in a professional manner directing them to the relevant department if necessary and in a timely manner.

 

To demonstrate and promote a customer focused approach to operational activities.

 

To achieve and maintain professional standards across all aspects of the role and present a smart, respectful, clean and professional image at all times.

 

To adhere to all safe and legal practices and to work in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidance notes.

 

To undertake the necessary training and any relevant refresher training in order to maintain effectiveness in your role and to carry out your role in a safe and efficient manner.

 

To be prepared to work flexibly including early morning, evenings, core days, weekend (in line with your outlined availability)

 

To accurately maintain the inventory system within the warehouses.To ensure stock is accurately charged to the correct customer/store within defined timescales.

 

To ensure deadlines are met, keeping line management fully informed of any operational issues, and produce scheduled reports as required.

 

To maintain effective internal stock ordering processes for PPE, First Aid, Canteens, as required.

 

To escalate any issues to the line or duty manager and support any recovery required to keep the operation running smoothly.

 

To ensure compliance with Company Procedures and Legislation relating to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene

 

To be an active member of the Admin team undertaking any other duties within the department as reasonably directed by the Supervisor and Management in the interest of customer service and efficiency. Duties may include, especially at peak operational periods (duies above & below not exhaustive)  
         Completion of stock takes. 
         Warehouse duties 
*         Cleaning
