So, as a Customer Assistant, you will already be a natural when it comes to customer service however, with our bespoke training you will become an expert in delighting our customers with our warm northern welcome and creating a magical shopping experience for our customers.

Working in one of our departments your day will be filled with a variety of interesting tasks, from checking stock and keeping records to looking after health & safety and food hygiene. Our customers will be your main focus, and everything you do will be with their shopping experience in mind. If they're happy, then we're happy - and that's what Booths is all about. You don't need retail experience to join our family. But you do need to be the kind of warm, friendly, hardworking and innovative person who can shine in front of our customers and fit comfortably into a hard working close team.

The position is primarily based in our Café/Hot Counter with the ongoing commitment to being multiskilled across other areas of the Specialist Team such as the Raw, Deli and Bakery. The position is intended to be permanent and we are looking for three successful applicants to fulfil our current requirements. Due to the nature of the role, any previous experience in customer services or the hospitality industry is beneficial as well as any working experience in respect of food safety and production. Though we are generally flexible as a business in respect of working hours we are specifically looking for candidates that are able to work on Thursdays, Fridays and a minimum of one weekend day.

Please Note:

Customer Assistant roles will require a minimum of 1 weekend shift per week.

Advertised rates of pay are applicable to 21 years +

Under 18:            £9.00

18 – 20 years:    £9.50
